Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) will be the focus of the railroad world this spring, a year after coming in to existence following the merger of Canadian Pacific and Kansas City Southern in April 2023.
The occasion that will have eyes on the newest class 1? A steam tour featuring Canadian Pacific No. 2816. The 1930 built Hudson will tour the road beginning April 24 at the railroad’s headquarters in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and will traverse the railroad’s tri-national main line to Mexico City. CPKC is the only railroad to link all three countries of North America with one line.
