ASHLAND — Hundreds from near and far will make their way to Ashland on Saturday for the 20th annual Train Day festival.
Ashland Train Day is just that, a day to come together and celebrate the history and excitement trains and the railroad have brought to many, including the Ashland community.
The event will be held in downtown Ashland with many vendors set up selling a wide array of items and of course, food.
Multiple model railroad displays will be available for viewing throughout the town as well.
The best thing about the event is that it’s free to attend. No admission fee is needed to shop the many vendors, view the model displays, and other events going on Saturday.
And the stars of the event… TRAINS will be plentiful with many Amtrak passenger trains and CSX freight trains rolling by north and south all day long.
The event begins at 10 AM and runs until 4 PM.
Can’t make it? Don’t worry! Thanks to Virtual Railfan, this event can be experienced virtually via the Ashland VRF camera.
