BUENA VISTA, VA (RAILFAN JOURNAL) – Norfolk Southern has recognized a father and his two sons who have been making their mark on the railroad.
Norfolk Southern says father and sons, Tim, Brandon, and Adrin, are part of the driving force behind its trains in Buena Vista, Virginia.
Tim began his railroad career back in 1988 and has worked 34+ years injury free and counting! Brandon, who came on board in 2010, runs the lead tamper on the local smoothing gang.
Adrin, the newest addition, joined NS in June 2022 and has quickly made his mark.
Norfolk Southern says that the Marshalls are instrumental to the success of the Blue Ridge Division Maintenance of Way & Structures (MW&S) team. With Tim’s retirement in the near future, the company says that it is excited to see Brandon and Adrin carry on this incredible family tradition.
